Bran is the remaining coating left after grinding grain. The dietary bran is called “the broom of the gastrointestinal system” because of its effect. It creates a feeling of fullness while soaking in the stomach; this is useful for those who want to lose weight. It works like a ballast material in the intestinal system, accelerates the movement of food and removes it.
Usage: bran is soaked in buttermilk, yoghurt, curds, vegetable or fruit juice or added to pancake batter, bread dough or pastry for rolls and cakes.
This product is labeled with keyhole symbol. Products marked with the Keyhole symbol contain significantly less saturated fat, sugar salt and more dietary fibre.
