Preparation
350 g mix, 140 ml warm water, 50 g melted butter, 8 g dry yeast
- Combine the mix (package 1) and dry yeast (a separate package) in a bowl.
- Melt 50 g of butter and put aside to cool. Mix the melted butter, 140 ml warm water and flour to make soft dough.
- Cover the dough with cling film and set aside to rise for 15–20 min. To make softer Angel Wings let the dough rise in double.
- Sprinkle a flat surface with flour and roll a sheet of dough aiming for about 0.2–0.4 cm thickness of dough. Cut the sheet of dough into strips 2–2.5 cm wide and 10–12 cm long. Cut a slit lengthwise in the centre of each strip and pull one end of the strip through the slit.
- Heat 0.5-1 l vegetable oil (depending on the size of the frying pan you are using). Fry the strips in batches on both sides until lightly golden. Place them on paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- Dust with powder sugar (package 2).

Sveiki,
